Is this really free?

Why are you giving this away?
We buy cabs for a living. Drivers who use the Health Check sometimes decide to sell, and when they do, we want to be the obvious first call. Most don't sell, that's fine. The report is useful either way.
What data do you actually pull?
From DVLA: make, model, year, fuel, colour, current MOT status, current tax status, CO2, engine size. From DVSA: every MOT test ever recorded, mileage at each test, advisories, failures, dangerous defects. We combine these into a single 1-page report.
How accurate is the health score?
It's directional, not diagnostic. We compute a 1-5 grade based on MOT pass rate, recurring advisories, and dangerous failures over the full test history. It cannot replace a workshop inspection. It will tell you whether a cab has a clean record or a pattern of problems.
Does it work for cabs that aren't taxis?
Yes. The tool works for any UK-registered vehicle, taxi or otherwise. The framing is for cab drivers because that's our specialism, but the underlying data is the same for any private car or fleet vehicle.
Will my reg be saved or shared?
We log the lookup to a per-IP rate-limit table to prevent scraping; the entry expires after 60 seconds. No personal data is captured unless you submit the Get Offer CTA at the bottom of the report. DVLA + DVSA logs are governed by the respective Government departments.
