I drive in [non-London city], do you buy outside the TfL area?+
Yes. We buy council-licensed PHVs from every UK licensing authority, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Bristol, and every smaller council too. Each licence type has its own plate-strip and paperwork; we handle them all in-house.
What's the difference between a PCO and a non-London PHV?+
PCO is the historical name for TfL's London private-hire licence. Outside London, each council issues its own PHV licence with similar conditions but different plate format and renewal cycle. To us they're all private-hire vehicles, same valuation process, same offer turnaround, same buyer network.
I'm changing to a different PHV. Can you part-exchange?+
We're a direct buyer, not a dealer, so we don't do part-exchange in the traditional sense. But the cleanest path for most upgrading drivers is: sell your current PHV to us for cash on the day, then put the cash toward the new vehicle. Often nets more than a dealer part-ex.
Do you take ex-Uber cars?+
Yes. Ex-Uber Prius, Corolla, Octavia, Galaxy, all the volume models. Uber operation history doesn't hurt the offer; if anything it confirms the working-cab pricing model. Bring the Uber ride-share insurance docs if you have them.
