I drive outside London. Do you buy outside the TfL area?+
Yes. We buy council-licensed PHVs from every UK licensing authority, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Bristol, and every smaller council too.
I'm outside London. Is it the same process as a London private hire driver?+
The TfL licence is London-only. Outside London, each council issues its own plate with similar conditions but different format and renewal cycle. To us they are all private hire vehicles, same valuation process, same offer turnaround, same buyer network.
I'm changing to a different PHV. Can you part-exchange?+
We're a direct buyer, not a dealer, so no part-exchange. Most drivers sell their current PHV to us for cash, then put that toward the new one. It often beats a dealer part-ex.
Do you take ex-Uber cars?+
Yes. Ex-Uber Prius, Corolla, Octavia, Galaxy, all the common models. Uber history doesn't lower the offer. Bring your ride-share insurance docs if you have them.
Selling to us, whatever you drive
How quickly will I hear back after I submit my reg?+
A real valuer reads your submission and comes back with a firm offer within two hours during opening hours (Mon to Sat, 8am to 8pm). There is no instant figure on the site, because a person prices the vehicle rather than a form.
How long does the offer stand?+
Your offer holds for at least 72 hours, and the exact expiry date is printed on the offer itself. If it lapses, ask and we re-quote with current figures.
Do you collect, and does collection cost anything?+
We come to you anywhere in the UK at no charge, at a time you choose. If you would rather drop the vehicle at our Bethnal Green office, that is fine too.
When and how do I get paid?+
Paid in full by bank transfer before your vehicle leaves, after inspection and agreement. There are no selling or admin fees. The price holds if the vehicle is as described. Any change is explained first, and you can say no.
What do I need to have ready on the day?+
The V5C logbook in your name, photo ID, both sets of keys and your UK bank details. Bring the service history and any finance settlement letter if you have them.
