What to have ready for collection day
Nothing required at offer stage. These are needed when we collect (or you drop off at HQ):
- V5C logbook (or tell us if you don't have it, we still buy)
- Both sets of keys (single key reduces the offer slightly)
- PCO/Hackney plate (we handle TfL deplating)
- Service history, if you have it (improves the offer)
- Outstanding finance settlement letter, if applicable
- Photo ID matching the V5C (driving licence or passport)

Common questions
How is this different from instant-quote sites?+
We're a specialist, they're a generalist. We have a buyer network of PCO fleet operators, dealers replacing rental fleets, and continental black-cab importers. Their algorithm doesn't price a PCO Toyota Prius any differently than a non-PCO one. Ours does. See /our-prices for the maths.
How quickly do I actually get paid?+
Same day as collection. Once you've accepted the offer and we've inspected the vehicle, the bank transfer goes via Faster Payment Service (FPS), typically clears within an hour, before we take the keys.
Do I need any documents to start the process?+
No. Just reg + mileage. Documents (V5C, both keys, finance settlement letter if applicable) are needed at collection day, not at offer stage.
What if my cab isn't currently licensed?+
Ex-PCO and ex-Hackney vehicles are absolutely welcome. We buy plated, ex-plated, or never-plated vehicles. The offer reflects the trade market for whatever condition + status you have.
What if I'm comparing your offer to someone else's?+
Encouraged. Our offer holds for 72 hours specifically so you can compare. If you get a better offer elsewhere, tell us, we beat or match where we can. If we can't, we'll be honest about it.
