We want everyone to be able to use this site, and to get the same service if a part of it does not work for you.
Our aim
We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site has not been independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance. We check it ourselves with automated tools and by hand on a phone and a desktop, and we fix what we find.
What is in place
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page for keyboard users.
- Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields.
- Text that can be resized and pages that can be zoomed; we do not cap browser zoom.
- Animation that respects your system's "reduce motion" setting.
- Text alternatives on images that carry information; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields with labels and error messages that are announced to assistive technology.
- Touch targets of at least 44 pixels on the main controls.
Known issues
These are open at the date above and on our list to fix:
- The focus outline on the registration box in the dark page headers is hard to see.
- Some decorative animation has no pause control, although it stops when "reduce motion" is on.
- The cookie banner is a third-party component and we cannot change every part of it.
If you cannot use part of the site
You do not have to use the website to sell us a vehicle. Call 020 7871 7671 (Mon-Sat 08:00-20:00 · Sun closed), message the same number on WhatsApp, or email enquiries@sellyourcab.co.uk, and we take the details and send the offer by email or go through it with you on the phone.
Tell us about a problem
If you find something on the site you cannot use, email enquiries@sellyourcab.co.uk with "Accessibility" in the subject and say which page and what happened. We reply within 24 hours. If you are not happy with our answer, our complaints procedure applies.
