What's on the list

Six categories that hit the weekly release.

Roughly half private hire hybrids; the rest split across premium PHV, Hackney, WAV, ex-fleet retail and light commercial. Volumes from our 2024 to 2026 intake.

Private hire Prius + Corolla Hybrid

Mk3, Mk4 and Plug-in Prius. Corolla Hybrid in all body styles. Intake: 50 to 80 a month.

Mk3 Gen 3 Prius dominates the £-per-week private hire trade for cost-floor drivers. Mk4 + Plug-in trade above for newer-spec private hire drivers. Corolla Hybrid (E210, 2019+) increasingly common as London private hire drivers swap up from older Prius stock. Bands tracked by build year, mileage, and Toyota Hybrid Health Check status.

Premium PHV

Audi A6 / A4, BMW 3 / 5 Series, Mercedes E-Class. Diesel + PHEV, chauffeur-spec where applicable.

Bias toward 530e + E 300 e plug-in hybrids because of ULEZ + WLTP running-cost economics. A6 + E-Class W213 / W214 dominate the executive-chauffeur segment of the stock list. Diesel pre-2017 (B5 / B7 / OM651) routes through regional UK chauffeur trade + continental export rather than London private hire.

LEVC TX + Hackney

TX4, TXE, current TX. Mostly London-plated, 80k to 320k miles. Strong continental demand.

TX4 splits Euro 5 (regional UK + export routes) and Euro 6 (still active London Hackney where operator hasn't switched electric). TXE / current LEVC TX trades at the top of the band through London Hackney fleet operators. Spain, Italy, Belgium and Ireland take a meaningful share of TX4 + older LEVC stock via export.

WAV-converted vehicles

Mercedes Vito, VW Caddy, Peugeot E-Rifter conversions. NHS, council and private operator decommissions.

KPM-UK / GM Coachwork / Lewis Reed / Caversham conversion certification is the value gate. Working ramp + winch + tie-down points + LOLER inspection records add real money. NHS Trust + local-authority decommission batches typically arrive in 5 to 12-vehicle blocks; private-operator decommissions trickle in singles + pairs.

Ex-fleet + non-private-hire retail

Ex-rental, ex-corporate, expired-plate, and dealer trade-in stock. Same prep, different buyers.

Same in-house inspection, finance settlement and V5C prep as our private-hire stock. These sell into UK retail, not the licensed trade, so the buyers are retail forecourts. Volume follows corporate fleet end-of-cycle disposals.

Vans + light commercial

Transit, Transporter, Vivaro, Trafic. End-of-life utility and last-mile fleet decommissions.

Utility (Openreach, Cadent, UKPN) + last-mile (Amazon DSP, DPD, Evri) decommissions are the typical sources. Mileage tends to run 180k to 320k on a 4-to-6-year cycle. Buyers split between secondary utility operators, regional-trade conversion shops, and the continental light-commercial export market.

Why buy from us

Trade-grade prep, no nasty surprises.

Wholesale channels skim 8 to 12 percent and pass surprises through. Generalists buy retail and mark up retail. We sit between the two and handle the prep, so you take ownership clean.

Pre-inspected, no surprises

Every car inspected in-house, mileage verified against MOT history, mechanical issues disclosed up front. No buyer fees.

In-house inspection covers: visual condition (photographed to a fixed protocol), mileage cross-checked against MOT history + Toyota / Mercedes / BMW dealer service records, OBD scan for active fault codes, brake / tyre wear measured, hybrid battery health check (Toyota / Lexus only). Issues found are disclosed in the listing rather than discovered at collection.

Outstanding finance settled

We settle direct with the lender before stock release. Unencumbered day one.

HPI clear on every vehicle before it hits the trade list. Lender settlement direct (Black Horse, Mann Island, Close Brothers, Santander Consumer, etc.), the seller's outstanding balance is paid off and the V5C is moved into our name before listing. Trade buyers take ownership of an unencumbered vehicle on day one with no finance-trail risk.

Clean V5C, clear paperwork

Stock is listed with the V5C in our name and the paperwork settled.

Vehicles reach the trade list with the V5C moved into our name and the taxi flag cleared via DVLA Swansea. Stock is listed only after the V5C update arrives, so the trade buyer takes a clean-paperwork car. The same standard applies to non-TfL council-plated stock.

Collection or delivery

Collect from HQ at Bethnal Green E2. Multi-vehicle delivery across England + Wales at trade rates.

238 to 240 Bethnal Green Road, London E2 is the collection HQ, working hours 08:30 to 18:00 Mon to Fri + Saturday by appointment. Multi-vehicle delivery via trade transport partners at cost rates (typically £45 to £85 per car depending on distance, 8 to 15 cars per transporter day). Scotland + Northern Ireland by special arrangement on volume orders.

How it works

Apply once. Buy weekly.

  1. Apply

VAT number, motor trade insurance certificate, trading address, expected monthly volume. We verify against HMRC + Companies House.

Application form takes about 5 minutes. The required uploads: VAT registration certificate (or sole-trader VAT confirmation), motor trade insurance cover note (not a screenshot or quote, the live cover document), Companies House active record, and proof of trading address. Expected monthly volume helps us route you to the right list tier but doesn't affect approval.

  2. Get verified

Manual review by the owner or trade desk, typically inside 48 working hours. No motor trade insurance, no approval.

Verification is genuinely manual, the owner or trade desk reviews every application. We call your insurer to confirm the cover note is live (this is non-negotiable, the alternative would let underinsured buyers onto the list). 24 to 48 working hours is typical; complex sole-trader applications occasionally take longer. Rejections include a written reason so you can re-apply once resolved.

  3. Receive the weekly list

Every Monday morning. Today: WhatsApp Business broadcast. Phase 2 portal: full dashboard with photos, MOT, mileage, history.

Monday 09:30 WhatsApp Business broadcast with 10 to 30 vehicles per week. Each line: make / model / trim / year / mileage / reserve price / 3 photos / location. Reserve windows open Monday lunchtime; first verified buyer to reserve wins. Phase 2 portal (in build) adds: dashboard, full photo set, MOT history, OBD scan, finance status, purchase history.

  4. Reserve, pay, collect

£200 refundable deposit holds for 24 hours. Pay balance, collect from HQ or arrange transport.

Reservation: £200 holds the vehicle for 24 working hours. Cancel inside that window for a full refund; beyond the window the vehicle releases to the next buyer (deposit refunded only if the cancel is for a material listing discrepancy). Balance via bank transfer; collection from Bethnal Green E2 or arrange delivery via our trade-rate transport partners. All paperwork (V5C, invoice, licensing) handed across on the day.

What we expect

We turn down applications that don't meet the basics.

A verified trade list only works if the buyers on it are trade. We don't care about size: a one-person operation gets in on the same terms as a 50-vehicle dealership.

  • VAT registered. Validated against HMRC. Sole traders fine: VAT + insurance is the gate, not company structure.
  • Motor trade insurance. Current certificate, road risk minimum. Aviva, AXA, Tradex, Watford, and most UK brokers accepted.
  • Companies House (where applicable). Active status + at least one filed account. Sole traders skip.
  • Indicative monthly volume. Used to tier the broadcast. Happy with 1 a month or 30, we'd just rather know.

Trade FAQ

Six things buyers ask first.

What does verified mean? What do you actually check?

Three things, all manual. VAT number validated against HMRC. Motor trade insurance certificate uploaded and inspected (we need the cover note, not a screenshot). Companies House active + at least one filed account. Sole traders pass on the VAT + insurance pair.

Is there a fee to join or a monthly subscription?

No. No joining fee, no subscription, no listing fee on bought stock. Margin is on the buy-side; trade buyers pay the unit price and nothing else.

How many vehicles are typically on the weekly list?

10 to 30 per week. Prius and Corolla Hybrid usually account for half; premium PHV 4 to 8; LEVC TX 1 to 3. WAV, ex-fleet retail and light commercials run intermittent, often in 5 to 15-car batches when a decommission lands.

Can I reserve a vehicle before paying in full?

Yes. £200 refundable deposit holds the vehicle for 24 hours. Cancel inside that window and the deposit returns; beyond it we release to the next buyer.

I'm a UK exporter. Do you sell black cabs for continental shipment?

Yes. LEVC TX4 and TXE are a meaningful share of trade sales, with most going to operators in Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Ireland. We can hold pending your shipping window and handle V5C export paperwork at point of sale.

Phase 2 portal. When does that launch?

In build. Today the channel is WhatsApp Business broadcast on Mondays. The portal adds dashboard, photos, MOT history, reservation, payment, and purchase history. Verified applicants are invited day one.
