Executive BMW EV specialist

Sell my BMW i-series. Real executive-EV trade prices, not a generalist guess.

The BMW EV range, i3, i4, iX, i5, i7. Chauffeur retirees, airport-PHV stock, fleet trade-outs, and private-driver EV retirement. We sell to active executive-transport operators across the UK, not the generalist used-EV forecourt market.

What we look for

Four things that shape your i-series offer.

Battery state-of-health

The single biggest value driver. i4 84 kWh, iX 76 / 105 / 111 kWh, i5 84 kWh, i7 105 kWh packs typically hold up well in chauffeur use. BMW dealer SOH report at point of sale lifts the offer materially. The earlier i3 22 / 33 / 42 kWh packs show more variation; bring a recent capacity reading for the firmest offer.

Trim and option pack

M Sport / M Sport Pro and Comfort Plus trims carry meaningful chauffeur-trade demand. Driving Assistant Professional + rear-cabin spec on the i5 / i7 are particular value drivers. Base trims still bought at trade value; the option spec moves the offer materially either way.

Mileage in chauffeur context

Executive chauffeur i4 / i5 / i7 examples routinely show 80,000 to 140,000 miles before fleet retirement. The motorway-dominant duty cycle is gentler on the drivetrain than urban use. We price on body + battery + service history, not an algorithmic mileage cap.

Service-history continuity

BMW main-dealer service history adds real money on chauffeur EVs, particularly with BMW Service Inclusive transferable to the next owner. Documented OTA software updates + recent BMW Inspection 1 + 2 stamps are part of the value story.

Model breakdown

i3, i4, iX, i5, i7.

BMW i3 (2013-2022)

The first BMW EV. Carbon-fibre body, RWD, rear-hinged "suicide" rear doors. 22, 33, then 42 kWh battery options across the production life. Range-extender variant available pre-2018. Mostly retired from active PHV / chauffeur work now; strong private-driver second-hand demand keeps trade values stable. Niche but real resale through specialist EV channels.

Typical condition: 60,000-140,000 miles. Mostly private-driver retirement stock.

BMW i4 (2021+)

Gran Coupe body, 84 kWh battery, eDrive40 and M50 variants. The chauffeur-trade workhorse of the i-series; price/spec sweet spot for executive PHV use. Strong demand from active executive-transport operators, particularly the eDrive40 with Comfort Plus option pack.

Typical condition: 40,000-100,000 miles. Active chauffeur + executive PHV stock.

BMW iX (2021+)

The flagship EV SUV. xDrive40 76 kWh, xDrive50 105 kWh, M60 111 kWh. The higher-roofline executive choice over the i4. Strong demand from executive transfer + WAV-adjacent operators. M60 variants command an enthusiast-driver premium over chauffeur-trade pricing.

Typical condition: 30,000-90,000 miles. Premium executive + chauffeur stock.

BMW i5 (2023+)

Successor to the i4 in saloon form, replacing the 5 Series ICE for executive EV use. 84 kWh battery, eDrive40 and M60 variants. Resale still settling as fleet replacement cycles deliver stock. Strong forward demand from chauffeur operators upgrading from F90 5 Series ICE retirees.

Typical condition: 30,000-80,000 miles. Premium executive stock, building.

BMW i7 (2022+)

The flagship 7 Series EV, replacing G70 7 Series for executive EV chauffeur use. 105 kWh battery, eDrive50 and M70 variants. Highest single price point of the i-series. Specialist executive-transport resale, niche but established trade buyer pool.

Typical condition: 20,000-60,000 miles. Premium executive stock.

Common questions

BMW i-series FAQs.

Do you buy retired chauffeur i4 / i5 / i7 examples?+

Yes, routinely. Retired chauffeur and executive-fleet BMW i-series are the heart of our executive EV intake. We price on battery SOH + trim spec + service history; chauffeur-typical mileage (80k to 140k) does not penalise the offer.

My i4 still has BMW Service Inclusive. Does that affect resale?+

Materially positively. BMW Service Inclusive is transferable to subsequent owners and carries remaining manufacturer service value. An i4 with active Service Inclusive commands a clear premium over an equivalent vehicle without it. Bring the service plan documentation on collection day.

i3 with 22 kWh original battery, low SOH. Will you still buy?+

Yes. Original 22 kWh i3 examples with degraded SOH have ongoing demand through private-driver and EV-enthusiast channels at the right price. We factor the SOH honestly; bring a recent capacity reading for the firmest offer. The carbon-body structure and the rare-EV positioning keep values from collapsing.

iX M60 vs iX xDrive40, how does resale differ?+

M60 trades at a higher absolute price but to a different buyer pool, enthusiast drivers rather than chauffeur operators. xDrive40 sits firmly in the executive PHV trade and has stronger predictable fleet demand. M60 resale is firm but less frequent; xDrive40 turns more regularly.

My i-series is still under BMW manufacturer warranty. Does that affect the offer?+

Yes, materially. BMW 4-year / 50,000 mile vehicle warranty plus 8-year / 100,000 mile battery warranty are transferable to subsequent owners. An in-warranty BMW i-series commands a clear premium over an out-of-warranty equivalent because the next owner inherits the cover.

Fleet sale of multiple i-series, can you handle it?+

Yes. Fleet sales of 3+ vehicles go through our Fleet team rather than the individual driver flow. /fleet/submit lets you submit the registration list in one go; we come back within 4 working hours with a fleet-level offer.
