WAV specialist channel
Selling your WAV?
Don't take a generic offer.
Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are a specialist market. Generic buyers can't price the conversion, they treat it as a normal van or MPV and discount accordingly. We don't. We have a buyer network of NHS Trusts, care providers, community transport schemes and charities, buyers who pay properly for converted vehicles.
Conversion adds £8,000 to £12,000 of value, we account for it

How we value WAVs
The conversion is the variable.
Everyone else gets it wrong.
A standard 2021 Vito Tourer is worth roughly £18,000 to £22,000 at trade. A 2021 Vito Tourer with a Brotherwood WAV conversion in good working order is worth £28,000 to £34,000 , because the conversion cost £10,000+ when new, and the resale market for converted vehicles is non-overlapping with the standard Vito market.
Generic online buyers treat your vehicle as a standard Vito and offer accordingly. Dealers who don't specialise refuse to retail it. Our specialist buyer network, NHS Trusts, care providers, community transport schemes, pays properly for the conversion every time.
What we look at: conversion brand and date, ramp/lift working order, securement integrity, floor condition (this is where most wear shows), vehicle MOT/mileage as standard. Send the reg and we'll have a specialist offer in 2 hours.
FAQs
The questions WAV sellers ask
Can you buy a Motability vehicle?
If your lease has ended and you own the vehicle outright, yes. If it's still under Motability lease, you'd need to settle that with Motability Operations first, call us if you're unsure.
The conversion isn't working properly. Will you still buy?
Yes, we buy WAVs in any condition, including ones where the ramp or lift has stopped working. Price reflects the cost to bring it back to spec, but you won't be turned away.
What about VAT?
Where the original conversion was zero-rated for VAT (typical for medical-use buyers), we apply the second-hand margin scheme. We'll explain this on the call.
Will you collect from anywhere in the UK?
Yes. Free collection across England, Wales and Scotland. Northern Ireland is by arrangement (we can usually do it within 5 days).
