Euro 6 TX4 (2015-2017)
The last TX4 generation, post-Geely. Geely-Volvo VEA 2.5L diesel, fully ULEZ-compliant. Still a perfectly viable working London Hackney where the operator hasn't switched to electric. The only TX4 generation we currently buy.
Typical condition: 200,000-320,000 miles. Many still actively plated in London.

Do you buy high-mileage TX4 black cabs?+
Yes, if it's a Euro 6 TX4. A Euro 6 at 300,000 miles and beyond is a normal-shape working cab. The diesel drivetrain is built for the miles, so we price on condition and history, not a mileage cap. Submit your reg for a firm offer within 2 hours.
Do you still buy Euro 5 or Euro 4 TX4s?+
Not currently. We're only buying Euro 6 TX4s (2015-2017) right now. If that changes we'll update this page.
My TX4 has aged out of London service, do you still buy it?+
Yes, if it's a Euro 6 TX4. An aged-out Euro 6 still sells into the export and out-of-London licensing trade, so we price it for those buyers, not as scrap. We're not currently buying Euro 5 or Euro 4.
I still owe finance on the TX4, can you help?+
Yes. We settle the outstanding balance direct with your lender and pay you anything left over. Bring the finance details and we sort it on collection day.
Which TX4s meet the London ULEZ?+
The TX4 is diesel, and the London ULEZ needs diesels to be Euro 6, so only the Euro 6 TX4 (2015 to 2017) complies. That is also the TX4 we are buying at the moment. Check your exact registration on TfL's checker rather than assuming.

How quickly will I hear back after I submit my reg?+
A real valuer reads your submission and comes back with a firm offer within two hours during opening hours (Mon to Sat, 8am to 8pm). There is no instant figure on the site, because a person prices the vehicle rather than a form.
How long does the offer stand?+
Your offer holds for at least 72 hours, and the exact expiry date is printed on the offer itself. If it lapses, ask and we re-quote with current figures.
Do you collect, and does collection cost anything?+
We come to you anywhere in the UK at no charge, at a time you choose. If you would rather drop the vehicle at our Bethnal Green office, that is fine too.
When and how do I get paid?+
Paid in full by bank transfer before your vehicle leaves, after inspection and agreement. There are no selling or admin fees. The price holds if the vehicle is as described. Any change is explained first, and you can say no.
What do I need to have ready on the day?+
The V5C logbook in your name, photo ID, both sets of keys and your UK bank details. Bring the service history and any finance settlement letter if you have them.
