Generation breakdown
The first TX4 production run, built by London Taxis International (LTI) before the Geely takeover. 2.5L VM Motori turbo-diesel, manual or automatic. No longer ULEZ-compliant for London, but strong demand from out-of-London licensing authorities and continental export.
Typical condition: 300,000-450,000 miles. De-licensed or aged-out of London.
Cleaner-spec VM Motori diesel, interior refresh, improved electrics. Not ULEZ-compliant unless retrofitted. The export and out-of-London trade still buys these, so we price them for that trade, not as scrap.
Typical condition: 250,000-380,000 miles. Many aged out of London, some still plated by other councils.
