Audi Q8 e-tron (refresh, 2023+)

Mid-cycle refresh of the original e-tron: improved battery management, refined cabin trim, Q8 e-tron Sportback variant. Strongest current executive-chauffeur resale because of remaining warranty plus low total mileage. The SQ8 e-tron quattro performance variant commands a clear premium.

Typical condition: under 80,000 miles. Premium executive stock.

Audi e-tron GT (2021+)

The Porsche-Taycan platform-mate, 93 kWh battery, 469 to 637 bhp range. Lower-volume in executive PHV use than the SUV; stronger in private-driver hands. Resale through both executive-trade and enthusiast-driver channels, depending on spec.

Typical condition: 20,000-70,000 miles. Lower-volume but premium resale.

Audi Q4 e-tron + Q6 e-tron (2021+)

The smaller crossover EVs. Q4 e-tron on the MEB platform (shared with VW ID.4) at 77 kWh; Q6 e-tron on the new PPE platform at 100 kWh launched 2024. Increasing PHV uptake at the lower entry price. Trade demand growing as the 2021-2022 Q4 e-trons hit fleet-retirement age.

Typical condition: 30,000-90,000 miles. Active PHV + retiring chauffeur stock.

Q4 e-tron vs Q8 e-tron, which holds value better?+

Q8 e-tron typically holds the higher absolute resale figure because of the premium positioning and the chauffeur-trade buyer pool that actively looks for it. Q4 e-tron depreciates at a similar percentage but from a lower starting price, which means it can be the more economic ownership choice for a private driver running a 4-year hold.

My e-tron has a fault flagged on the dashboard. Will you still buy?+
