My Glasgow cab is on a PCO plate that's about to expire. Still buy?
Yes. Expired plate, lapsed plate, never plated, all welcome. We handle TfL deplating (£150 line-item, not deducted from your offer) and the V5C transfer ourselves. Drivers often think a lapsed plate scraps the value; on a clean Prius it doesn't.
What if I have an accident or insurance write-off history?
Tell us up-front in the assumptions step. We still buy categorised vehicles. Minor accident damage (Cat-N) is roughly £800 to £1,500 off the clean-equivalent offer depending on spec and repair quality; structural damage (Cat-S) more. Hiding it doesn't help; we run the history check before collection and a renegotiation on the day is the worst outcome for both of us.
