What we look for

Four things that shape your EQE offer.

Battery state-of-health

The single biggest value driver on any premium executive EV. EQE / EQS 90 to 108 kWh packs typically hold up well in chauffeur use because of motorway-dominant duty cycle + slow overnight depot charging. Dealer SOH report at point of sale lifts the offer materially. Bring it if you have one.

Trim and option pack

AMG Line + Premium Plus packs carry meaningful chauffeur-trade demand because the Burmester audio, rear-cabin spec, and reclining rear seats are what executive operators specify. Base Premium trims still bought at trade value; the option spec moves the offer either way.

Mileage in chauffeur context

Executive chauffeur EQE / EQS examples routinely show 80,000 to 140,000 miles before fleet retirement; motorway-heavy mileage on a premium EV ages the drivetrain gently. We price on body + battery + service history, not an algorithmic mileage cap that punishes hard-working executive transport.

Service-history continuity

Mercedes main-dealer service history adds real money on chauffeur EVs. Documented OTA software updates + battery health checks are part of the value story.

Model breakdown

EQE, EQS, EQE SUV, EQS SUV, E-Class PHEV, and what each is worth.

Mercedes EQE (saloon, 2022+)

The dedicated EQE saloon platform (separate from E-Class). 90.6 kWh battery, 245 to 408 bhp range, real-world 280 to 360 mile range. Strong chauffeur-trade demand because the cabin spec rivals the S-Class predecessor at a lower running cost. Mid-band of the executive EV resale spectrum.

Typical condition: 40,000-120,000 miles. Active chauffeur + airport PHV stock.

Mercedes EQS (saloon, 2021+)

The flagship Mercedes EV, replacing the S-Class in many chauffeur fleets. 108 kWh battery, 333 to 523 bhp range, real-world 340 to 410 mile range. Premium executive resale, the active trade buyer network pays the strongest prices for EQS Premier Edition examples with the rear-cabin Executive Pack.

Typical condition: 30,000-90,000 miles. Premium executive stock.

Mercedes EQE SUV + EQS SUV (2023+)

The higher-roofline SUV variants of EQE + EQS. EQE SUV 90 kWh, EQS SUV 108 kWh. Slightly slower than the saloons but higher passenger-comfort spec for airport transfers + WAV-adjacent use. The EQS SUV in particular is increasingly the chauffeur choice over EQS saloon when boot capacity matters.

Typical condition: 30,000-90,000 miles. Premium airport + executive transfer stock.

Mercedes E-Class PHEV (W213 + W214, 2020+)

The plug-in hybrid E-Class is still bought by us under this page even though it's not a full EV. Real-world EV-only range 30 to 40 miles, petrol drivetrain handles the rest. Strong PHV resale because of the dual-mode flexibility plus the lower entry price relative to full-EV EQE.

Typical condition: 60,000-160,000 miles. Active chauffeur + executive PHV stock.

Common questions

Mercedes EV FAQs.

Do you buy retired chauffeur EQE / EQS examples?+

Yes, routinely. Retired chauffeur and executive-fleet EQE / EQS are the heart of our executive EV intake. We price on battery SOH + trim spec + service history; chauffeur-typical mileage (80k to 140k) does not penalise the offer.

My EQE / EQS still has manufacturer warranty. Does that matter?+

Yes, materially. Mercedes 8-year / 100,000 mile battery warranty + 4-year vehicle warranty are both transferable to subsequent owners. An in-warranty EQE / EQS trades at a clear premium over an out-of-warranty equivalent because the next owner inherits the cover. We factor remaining warranty months into the offer explicitly.

What about the E-Class PHEV? Is it priced as a hybrid or as an EV?+

We price the E-Class PHEV as a hybrid with EV capability, not as a full EV. The drivetrain economics, the battery size, and the trade buyer pool are all closer to hybrid than EV. That means the offer is competitive with other premium PHEVs (BMW 530e, Audi A6 TFSIe) rather than benchmarked against full-EV EQE.

Battery degradation on my EQE is at 90 per cent SOH. Bad?+

Not at all for a 2 to 3 year old chauffeur EQE. 90 per cent SOH at that age is normal-shape; the rapid early-life drop in the first 18 months is now behind the vehicle and steady-state degradation should be in the 1.5 to 2 per cent per year band going forward. The offer reflects the SOH but does not penalise it.

Can I sell a Mercedes EV with a documented battery fault?+

Yes. Documented faults are easier for us to price than undisclosed ones; the trade buyer pool understands EV refurbishment costs and we factor them in honestly. Hide the fault and it surfaces at collection inspection, which is worse for everyone. Declare upfront for the firmest offer.

I'm a fleet operator with multiple EQEs to sell. Different process?+

Yes, fleet sales of 3+ vehicles go through our Fleet team rather than the individual driver flow. /fleet/submit lets you submit the registration list in one go; we come back within 4 working hours with a fleet-level offer. Per-vehicle valuation principles are the same; the difference is logistics + paperwork batch handling.
