VW Group DQ381 7-speed wet-clutch DSG is more robust than the older DQ200 dry-clutch unit. ID.4 Pro (77 kWh battery) commands £3,000 to £5,000 over the ID.4 Pure (52 kWh) for equivalent age and mileage. The real-world 220+ miles opens up airport-run chauffeur work that the Pure can't reliably support. ID.4 GTX (AWD) adds another £1,500 to £2,500 over the Pro.
